Year:  2018 Team: Tingji Guo, Nanxuan Zheng Academic Project at UCLA SUPRASTUDIO. We use this project as a attempt to figure out the relationship between human and robots within architecture, obviously, machines introduced into building are supposed to serve human being, so the people are the most essential element compared to the automatic robots, which means human have the highest priority. Anytime robots need to yield to people inside the building. Our topic is focusing on the machine highway, it means we need to create a track system so that robots can be operated on that in a high speed, it brings up several puzzles because of that highspeed characteristic, how we keep people safe while machines are operating, how would people interact with these robots, what is the suitable track form for machine to run on, in this project we tried different strategies to construct the space and then revised it based on the simulation we did.
